Hopefully sister 3 will let me move her stuff out of my room before Friday, or else my friend will have to sleep suspended from the ceiling like a bat

Looking forward to an over 55s bungalow from Wigan council in about 18 months. :)

^ Excellent news - I'd love a bungalow and a garden.

What's on my mind?
Why am I still waiting for the President George II plus cables and other bits & pieces? DHL tracking says the package was loaded into the van and arrived at the delivery depot 11:00.
Yet here I sit, rigless. :x

Yeah if I had my own garden I'd cook my breakfast on a camping stove every morning

Mine took 2 days to arrive.

Yeah, looks like it's going to be the same here - despite paying for next-day delivery.

Still, at least the antenna has arrived from someone else - Knight's were out of stock when I was ordering.
It's a Sirio Signal Keeper, bought on a "that'll do for now" basis until I can get something decent mounted outside.

Yea, I've got the Sirio signal keeper as well as I don't think the council will let me put up an outdoor aerial. Seems to work OK for local use.

I daren't even ask!

I own (leasehold) an ex-council flat and checking the council's website I see general information about home alterations, adding extensions and so on, but permission is needed to even install a Sky dish so chances are it won't be good news for a 6+ meter "real" aerial.

But I had a dish installed years ago and no-one's come knocking on the door about it, so...

Our nearest neighbour is less then a quarter of a mile away, but there is a 20 minute walk down to a nice secluded beach that has sand and small pebbles for about a mile in one direction and about two miles the other direction the beach is sand, pebbles and rocks. If we see six people on our walk down there and to the beach we consider it busy, as not many people know about it or go there. Yet if one goes to the next beach along in either direction one will find loads of people on them in the summer!

A need to visit a nearby gym. My mom will return from her native land tomorrow ( from her second trip)
and she enjoys accusing me of not wanting to stay physically active.

She is recovering well. It has been raining for quite some time where they are in comparison
to the weather being hot in the Pacific NW where my NT sister and I are located.
