Depends on the perspective you're looking at it from, but yes that's one of the official names.

Just been for a drink with my neighbour. I had to pretty much crawl out of his flat.

Did you know the French for apple is pomme and the French for potato is pomme de terre? Makes you think, what with all this talk about apples and taters seeming like each other. Maybe in the olden days when they were inventing French they thought they were much the same thing except that taters grow in the ground and apples grow on trees. I used to quite like apples but a sour one put me off and I don't bother now. And they get a bit messy to eat once you're getting near the core. I'll never stop liking taters though. No cores to worry about.

Yep.
There's a good reason why DNA is referred as a set of instructions.

You got no idea how many times I've been looking between what usually made a human with XX chromosomes from a human with XY chromosomes goes through.

And then imagine what might happen if it stopps from going through in-between those transitions.
Or, if it's possible to go through both and overlap in a single embryo...

Not to mention how variations of twins are created and how ending up as...

I hadn't looked enough of plants and other animals. Hadn't come up in my algorithm.

Hm.

I should create a list.
