When you see a locked thread

What do you do about it? Are you tempted to open the thread and read it to see why it was locked or do you not click on it because it doesn't interest you.

Everytime I see a locked thread, I always click on it because it means there was very likely a drama in there so I click on it to see what it was all about and what happened in there and why it got locked. I find it tempting to read them unless I found it boring or my attention span is too short.

I sometimes enjoy reading locked threads, especially if I posted in it earlier, because I want to see if something I said caused it to be locked. If I find out that I am the one who caused it to be locked, I feel an ambivalent mixture of both shame and pride. This has happened to me a couple of times in the Adult Forum.

I click on em if it looks like a topic that might be interesting to me or if it's something I replied to or reported to a mod

It depends on whether or not the topic arouses my interest, as is the same for every other thread.

If the topic looks interesting then I can't resist having a peek to see why it imploded.

I try to figure out why it was closed.

I had a topic that eventually got locked. The last few pages (mostly trolling and fighting) got annoying to read after a while.

I click on it to see the crap that happened at the end of the thread. I have a few "favorites." =X Sad of me.

I usually look at the first and the last page and if it seams interesting i read the hole thing, unless i get distracted by something shiny.

I look at the original post and the last page to see what the drama was about. If it's really interesting I'll read more of it.

Oh the temptation to lock this thread! I guess everyone would want to read it then!

Depends. If the title implies the OP is trolling, I don't read the thread, but I do look at the OP's profile and previous posts for confirmation. If the title doesn't imply trolling I'll read it out of curiosity.

All I care about is posting so I don't look at locked threads because that goal can not be accomplished with normal user status.
