Petey is the blue budgerigar upon the left and Patricia is the cockatiel upon the right.

My nana used to have a cockatiel called Snowy. It used to whistle "pop goes the weasel", he was a noisy little bird. He also died in 2008, I think it was 2008 anyway, I know it was fairly recently.

Aww, I love birds. Especially cockatiels. I miss having one.

I grew up with parrots, and I relate to them; they're like Aspies in so many ways. Misunderstood and little-known. Rain Man was found on the street, in the rain, somewhere in Minnesota. He has no leg band, so he might have been wild-caught. He's shy, sometimes bitey, sometimes loud, always neurotic. He's had a hard life, and a lot of people wouldn't have put up with his issues for as long as we have (clearly someone didn't, seeing that he was out on the street). But we're all he has, and he needs us. He can be a total sweetheart sometimes, and he does the best he can.

Today's Chico's Birthday! He's 8 in dog years, 56 in people years.

I have a channel on youtube with a few videos of some of my critters.

Sugar gliders, ferrets, cats, dogs, and lizards in our house. Used to be a lot more, but I'm getting tired of all the work, lol.

I don't have any pets at all. My brother
gets a terrible allegric reaction from dogs.
My favourite breed is a golden retriever they are
always smiling happy dogs.

I think Ray Bradbury once had a dog named Dog. (At least, I read a bunch of his short stories in an anthology once, and more than one of them mentioned a dog named Dog, so either that part was based on his own experience, or he just liked the idea enough to use it in multiple stories.)
