Have you ever wanted to hear a pay phone ring? I did, so I would dial 911 on the pay phone and then hang up knowing that they'd call back. I know that's bad, but I was just a little kid at the time.

I've never really thought about it...

There aren't many payphones around here, anyways.

I hardly see any. These days everyone has a cell phone but some places still have them because not everyone has a cell phone or they leave it at home or they left it on the bus or lost it.

In London, there's tons and I remember one time it started ringing out of nowhere.
People barely even use them anymore apart from the time when we had a power cut for a few days.

I've heard one ring once. I was in Disney World in Epcot in London or something and a telephone in a telephone booth rang I think. My sister answered it and they were asking for someone so she told them that the phone was inside Epcot.

Or they haven't gotten rid of the old payphone yet.
