Has anyone here ever attacked a bully? What was the outcome?

several times when younger. generally outcome was bad for me. ooops, misread post. silly fudo. thought it said attacked by a bully.

attacked 2 bullies iirc,1st was 1 guy& his goon kinda a 'draw' but helped me socially for a while.. 2nd one was just a short term tormentor, i landed several punches to his face & he did yield and never seriously bothered me again.. caught him a bit off-guard.. was in a wheelchair, but only for 1 broken leg,(was cool, why hobble on crutches?) he didn't expect me to stand and attack. this was several years ago.

f**k up my bully father after he shook me twice and tried hitting me. I f**k him up so badly but should have killed him if I would have known he pressed charges on me. My dad is a total piece of trash, haven't spoken with him in years since. Total trash.

I disagree.

that's your prerogative, i don't advocate wanton violence, only self-defence, with which the goal is not to cause harm.

Totally agree.
Although I do snap sometimes and lash out, but it's never my goal, it just happens.
If you hurt people and think it's okay, you're just as bad as the bullies.

I did that once while a bully was getting off the school bus, and he limped for several days after that and never messed with me again. And in that particular case, he had been messing with me because I had done something similar to his older brother who had been picking on me for a long time prior to that ... and both of those boys were sons of the preacher in the church where I grew up.

In another situation, my dad had also told me to finally stand up to a bully in school ... but then the principal had said I would get a paddling right along with the bully if I did that ... but then my dad let the principal know he (my dad) would be coming after him (the principal) with a ball-bat if that happened. So, that situation never changed much until many years later when I ended up in prison for something I did to finally stand up to that bully.

Overall, I suggest not taking matters into one's own hands.

i agree with this too. not just saying so to impress emilion lol
if we all start justifying violence, well i'm not sure exactly what would happen but it wouldn't end well.

violence begets violence.
