Anybody like fish and/or seafood? :)

What is your favorite fish and/or seafood?

How do you like it to be cooked or prepared?

Well, I pretty much love the taste of all fish and/or seafoods, but my favorite is Pacific Salmon.

I like it prepared in any way, but especially grilled, roasted, or raw. I love the bright orange color.

Salmon is the best. Grilled, smoked, fried, raw. It's always delicious.

I like sushi, too.

I prepare prawn salad myself - prawns, chillis, garlic, onion, coriander leaves, lime juice, tomatoes, mushrooms etc.

I don't eat mammals or birds but I love seafood.

My favorites are oily fish such as sardine, mackerel, yellowtail and salmon. Best eaten raw.

I also like cod, grouper and eel. Not so crazy about tuna though.

Sea urchin is very yummy but can't eat too much at once.

Oh, I forgot to mention I love seaweed, too.

Green, pink and white seaweed mixed with a bit of small dried shrimps with soy sauce poured on it is absolutely delicious!

That sounds interesting.

A local chinese restaurant expiramented with a green sea weed dish.

Wasnt bad, wasnt great, but it was definitely unusual. Imagine edible green plastic- the texture- not the taste (didnt have much taste).

LOVE seafood! Especially love shellfish. Sushi = Major Yum. I always preferred seafood to red meats and chicken. I love "wet" foods: creamy, moist, supple. Can't stand dry foods like overcooked meat or even dry fish like swordfish.

By Alex, you have a very strong stomach. That is....something else.

Toro is always good.

Huh? Wait, you don't eat the whole thing, just the orangey stuff inside. Hahaha

I'll follow the Biblical guidelines on this one - fins & scales = good! :D

I likes me a tasty fish prepared in almost any way!
...so long as it's cooked fully and the head removed. (Some weird asian restaurants just plop it on your plate still moving and head intact... gross!)

Other things like shellfish are less appealing (though I still enjoy clam chowder) and I don't like bottom-feeders like crab and lobster at all.

No you do not have to pick just one. Talk about however many you want.

Think of this thread as an ALL YOU CAN EAT SEAFOOD BUFFET☆ :D

Love seafood with a passion, I'd eat it every single day if it wasn't for the high prices and that darned mercury in all the fish! Lobster is my favorite, if you've never had a grilled lobster tail you don't know what you're missing. Salmon is really good too, it's super-easy to cook and almost impossible to screw up, it's one of my staple work-night dinners. Crawfish/shrimp/crabs (ideally dungeoness) with a buttload of seasoning are good too. I'd keep going but there are too many things I like about seafood to list them all.

Salmon is the food of the gods.

I like clams and prawns (not together).

Swordfish is nice, as is sea bass.

Eel and octopus are good as sushi.

Nobody said shrimp? Prawn is close but not really the same. I like them breaded and crunchy, otherwise soaked in garlic
