I'd like to go to Maui for a few weeks and lay on the beach in a bathing suit, getting a tan. 8)

I want to live in England. I have a fondness for English culture, and based on pictures and videos I've seen, it looks so beautiful there.

Belgium. I miss it. And good food and great beer. And it's pretty--lots of green.

I'd quite like to live in America, probably either Texas or Minneapolis, in America it seems you can get so much more for your money and just seems like an easier place to live, or at least it is as long as you hide certain aspects of you (US doesn't exactly seem tolerant).

Or if sticking in the UK - Milton Keynes - lots of people think I'm mental for this, but I almost moved down there a few years back when I had a boyfriend down there, I loved the little village where he lived and there's more to do and better shopping there than up here. It was one of the few places I've visited outside of Newcastle so that's probably why I like it, but in all fairness it has good memories too.

Somewhere warm. Though I don't know if I'd want to live there long-term. I think I'd rather stay here.

Visit Paris. My reason behind why is silly but it is that I went to Disney World last year and when I saw the Paris in Epcot I was amazed by the beauty.

I'd like to visit parts of Central/South America, Europe, and Japan.

As for where I'd like to live, I'd prefer to live someplace liberal that has lots to do and has good public transportation.

I'd like to live in Iraq. I have some very conversation traditional moral values that are more common over there. Also Americans hate them & I hate the capitalistic hypocritical do as I say not as I do, I'm better than everyone else American attitude.
I wouldn't want to visit anywhere because I hate traveling.

A lot of it isn't. A lot of it is council estates, suburban areas, dead-end towns with nothing but charity shops and tatty looking supermarkets.

There isn't really a lot of "English culture" left - no-one is interested in high culture any more. No-one reads the classics - I certainly never have! - and English people on average know less about English history than the average Scandinavian. Most modern English culture can be summed up by watching The X Factor or EastEnders - vapid tosh.

I think you'd be in for a bit of a shock if you came here.

There are some lovely parts to it but they tend to be more rural; Blackpool is considered a big tourist destination for the British (especially those from the west of Scotland) but walk off the main streets and the façade soon becomes apparent.

Fact is, though, that in many cases Americans are better than them. Probably not the average Iraqi, who just wants to live his life in peace, but the sectarian bombers/terrorists/murderers out there.

And I'm opposed to the Iraq war.

So you agree that beating and raping women is fine and that they should be clothed under burqas, that homosexuals should be stoned to death, that anyone who doesn't believe in Islam should be murdered, and so on?

They would kill you without a second thought.

Manderley Castle, County Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

I hear that the current owner has remodeled the interior, complete with music studio, panic room, wine cellar, and mirrored dining hall.

And Paul "Bono" Hewson (U2) lives just around the corner, too!

A quick 40-minute plane ride for most of the UK and if you live in the south-east you can go by Eurostar. :)

Yes, the Belgian beers I've had have almost all been very good indeed. Not bad for a non-country. ;)

Many people in Britain and Ireland aren't keen on him.
