82 F but feels like 89 F with 79% humidity. A strong line of thunderstorms are moving into this area so I may have to unplug the computer for awhile.

Maximum here today has been 12C [53F] and I am about to switch the central heating back on for good now.
I hear the effects of another Atlantic hurricane is due to hit us in Scotland on Monday. :?

Indeed, Hurricane Katia looks to be headed for the Outer Hebrides as a post-tropical storm, but still with rather gusty winds!

23 (73) here, with partly cloudy skies.

That's a nasty storm! I hope it's not damaging like it was when she came through here. Thanks for posting the article CosmicRuss, storms and weather fascinate me.

We had gusts equal to that when it moved through the Tidewater Region of Southeastern Virginia where I live. That's what caused the trees to fall on everything including some people.

It's 79 F but it feels like 81 F with 70% humidity and light clouds here at 2:10 PM in Norfolk, Virginia.

Either go on the internet and find it or insert the symbol on word, copy and paste - that's what I do anyway.

23 (73) and mostly sunny right now, that's cool 8)

Katia is now officially post-tropical, but there is a genuine risk of winds up to 60mph here and further north on Monday.

Hold down left alt and type 248.

(Yes, kind of complicated. I have to bless Czech keyboard with shift+one key making ° symbol.)
