no, don't worry, this isn't a thread about dave.

this is an attempt to promote general chat, banter, discussion & conversation about anything & everything.
however, it seems the patrons of this particular sub-forum are not particularly talkative, except perhaps a small group.. so with this thread, fudo aspires to discourage aloofness & encourage flowing dialogue. quite like the clean chat room, i guess, except you can eat with your hands, talk with your mouth full & put your elbows on the table... so to speak ;)

hopefully this is something that can be enjoyed by all :)

Hmmm would this not be too similar to the random thread?

But anyway, this is a post. I don't know what to say other than making my presence known :)

Hello.

I've spent the last hour choosing my best song of each decade for the thread in the music forum. And I'm rethinking several of my choices. Hum.

Anyway, this has been a day of making lists, and choosing favourites. And, almost certainly, so will tomorrow.

Good night.

it might turn out to be, but hopefully this could be a place for more coherent banter.. rather than the somewhat sporadic nature of 'got anything random to say?'. maybe even encourage a kind of comradery/camaraderie. we can but hope. :)

so, how are you, good fellow?

I can't do witty banter. Wonky blather just happens sometimes though.

belated goodnight to you.
i can never pick favourites unless i only like one, normally there are far too many things to enjoy about anything i like.

I am here too. I don't consider myself witty, but I am eating corn-on-the-cob with one hand and typing with the other, so all is not lost.

Ten you post it in my attendance thread. I am just wondering if gang activity is ever as violent in the UK as it is in the USA. Though in other parts of world such as Mexico gangs can be really evil.

I have no idea wrll, as I haven't seen much of the USA, but most likely not!
I'm out now, in any case.

wit is certainly not a prerequisite for this thread, (notice thewrll posting here? ;) ) that was just a catchy title :)

re gang violence, no.. US gangs have many more guns. silly people, gang members.
if you read the right newspaper however, you might believe it's even worse here.
