Why do men hate super short hair on women?

It's a societal norm for women to have long hair and men to have short hair. Supposedly having long hair is more "feminine."

As far as I'm concerned, an attractive girl is attractive whether she has short or long hair.

Exhibit A: Natalie Porman in V for Vendetta.

Having said that, the buzz cut is too short for most women.

I'm keeping my hair short. I'm not looking fore male attention, anyways.

I find short hair on women unappealing because it isn't feminine.

Now, there are some short hairstyles that are indeed feminine. The one in your picture is feminine. I would not call it 'super short' hair... super-short is like what Emma Watson had a while back (military like buzzcut hair).. thats just horrid.

All stereotypes come from somewhere, and the gay stereotype is no different. It would be silly to deny that there are lots of gay guys out there who are feminine, into fashion, into hair, etc. But yeah, I think they're a minority within a minority, like most stereotypes.

i think women with pixie crops look lovely, esp' emma watson whoever said she looked hideous, i wish i was pretty enough to pull it off.

Maybe its because I grew up with my mom having short hair that ive been used to it. On the right girl its very hot.

It depends on the haircut. Really short can look good, even though I prefer really long hair in general.

I'm a straight guy, and I find certain short hairstyles on women to be very attractive. Of course, it depends on the style, the length, and the shape of the woman's face, obviously.

It's not something I hate, but generally long hair looks better on females for me.

I don't mind short hair on women but there's a stereotype that women with short hair are tom-boys or lesbians. Some guys don't like tom-boys for various rezones & guys don't have a chance with lesbians so that may be why guys tend to be less interested & attracted to girls with short hair

I think it has to do with looking like a guy to other guys or something.
