Hand has been hurting. Just nerve damage. About the same as the TN, just different; not stabbing then aching, but some weird numb cold-like pain which increases the more contact it has with anything. Like you hold your hand on ice for too long. Forgot to take medication this morning, so that'd be why. It probably won't work that well now, but that's alright (it works a lot better if you take it before you use the hand).

Heart has too, which is probably why I forgot to take the medication. Mind has been full with a couple of things.

Missed two days of work because some unvaccinated covidiot caught the coronavirus and exposed as many people as possible -- including my wife and myself -- before being rushed to the emergency room with blue lips and severe shortness of breath.

By G^D's own grace, Mrs. Fnord and I tested negative for the coronavirus.  Others have tested positive.

I am damned sick and tired of having cotton swabs stuck up my nose.

I hope you and your wife will be okay. I'm glad you tested negative.

While I was in the litterbox at work, someone had the nerve to reach under the partition and grabbed my foot.

Then I asked head cashier Marie if she could please get someone like a cop while I watched the litterbox

Micromanager Marie refused to call someone. She said that she was not allowed to leave the register. She told me to go to Loss Prevention manager E

By the time I got to load prevention, the appellant had already left the litterbox

And the company says that safety is the first priority

Loss Prevention told me to fill out a form

After I filled it out, Christine told me that the loss Prevention or manager is going to get back to me but she did not know when because "the holidays"

f**k micromanager Marie

Marie could have made an announcement on the intercom. "Any security or cop please come to the litterbox"

Marie makes announcements frequently

Marie leaves the register frequently

Marie's a lil b***h

Two times she called me on the walkie talkie, while I was on break. When I told her I was on break, she correctly told me that I was the only Lot Attendant

Marie two times called me on the walkie talkie, thirty seconds after she gave me the walkie talkie

Marie told me to go to Garden, but Garden called a Gardener, not a Lot Attendant

Marie b***h has the nerve to tell me to push two carts at a time, but the instructions say "use both hands"

Marie told me that I was late for work, at 9:03 but the company has a seven minute grace period

Marie kept telling me to lift things way too heavy, such as a refrigerator

Marie bothers me when I am not on the clock

Marie is just a head cashier but she acts like a manager

f**k Marie b***h

But I don't feel like I can do anything about it because outnumbered overpowered outsmarted

As usual s**t

Underlying issues

The company has not done my six year performance evaluation, much less one year evaluation

Over 14 months

The one year evaluation sometimes comes with a raise

My BP is still really high (over 160) and my pulse is 110 again.

This is with 3 kinds of BP meds, and two strokes under my belt.

It would be lovely if I could sleep or rest or take it easy, whether mentally or physically.

*hugs* I hope that your bp comes down soon! Heart/BP issues are so scary. Please do rest and take some time for yourself

Thanks flown. I hope you're feeling better too.

I'm busy today with my mother, unfortunately. Tomorrow should be the winning ticket - chilling with my beau, playing board games for the new year. Very low key. I just wish I could sleep. My max lately is about 3-4 hours, and that's with sedatives. I'm totally fried. Taking care of people is debilitating when you have no spoons for yourself. I clearly need a meds adjustment but at this point it feels like Russian Roulette.

:(

That's so sad, Fnord. My condolences. Cancer is so terrible - such a hard way to go.

RIP there.

Lots of people dying lately.

As for me, my mother is having more and more seizures. I'm not really sure what that means, and no one else really will either (simply due to the rarity of the condition); maybe a lower seizure threshold due to less GABA or direct damage via cellular/humoral immunity. The only real medication that can help slow progression can't be given due to SARS-CoV-2.
