The Olympics are over. I'm the only person in the House of WP who is crying, but that doesn't bother me. I've made peace with my emotions and everything else that makes me different from everybody else here over the past 8 weeks when I stopped drinking coffee. I've also learned to be a more peaceful person. It doesn't bother me that no one else is crying. My emotions are my own.

I think I'll use one of my new favourite avatars to keep the spirit alive. I've tried to find an inspiring Paralympian from Canada or Germany that I could relate to. I haven't found one yet. They're all British and American, apologies to toe members who fly the Red, White and Blue.

I keep biting inside of my mouth.

Fears that I might not be able to make that trip for obvious reasons.

Wait a tick. I'll be going to Wendy's with Dean, Barb and Suzan on Friday and I was unhappy about not being able to go on that picnic. I really need to learn to guard my heart a little more.

Anxiety and chest pain

I'm still sad that the Olympics are over and my mind was been wandering to a time that I was a hyper little 60s type person with a stiff upper lip, because I've been making peace with my true emotions just recently. I don't realize that my Olympic viewing moment happened in 2008 when I saw someone who was my body type at the time lift a whole bunch of weight. I was into Flushed Away at the time and I kept on shouting, "Come on, Sid. This is your third try! Do the Endomorphs of the world proud!" I'll always enjoy the Olympics, summer and winter. My mind wanders to Late 1993 whenever I've cried or I feel like I'm going to cry. I know it's not the way to carry on for me to be thinking that way.

The 1/4 inch (6mm ish) splinter in my pinky toe. Been there for about 50 hours now, hoepfully my body decides “hmmm no this shouldn’t be here” and takes it out for me


previous removal attempts were unsuccessful and just agitated it more

Horseshoe crabs.

I did a couple of German songs in Karaoke in fear of not sounding very good singing rock songs which are almost, always in English. I got in trouble for doing so.
