Anxiety

I read that a man was charged after he allegedly (ugh, I hate that Legalese word so much) after he threatened a mother and her children in a store. They didn't say what store, but it was in an area where I usually go once a week for grocery shopping. People are getting nastier and more dangerous because the world is in such chaos.

The article is so vague, it doesn't say what the man's threats were or if it was motivated by something like racism or Trump anxiety syndrome (which is really a thing and I should know). Although someone had a link and apparently he's the same guy who caused a three-hour lockdown after he attempted murder in 2020. I guess it won't be long before he really does commit murder.

When I was uncomfortable with hugging my grandparents my mom told me that Temple Grandin eventually came around to hugs so therefore I will too. Because apparently I'm Temple Grandin. I really thought my mom knew better than that.

Anxiety

My back is aching.

I haven't won much in contests as of this month.

I had to buy an Office 365 subscription, which sucks but I just can't get on with Open Office or similar. And then I discover that it has Copilot (MS AI assistant) built into the apps now so the whole time I'm working I'm being constantly prompted to let AI do my work for me. What exactly is the point of me then?

We're being force-fed AI whether we like it or not. No doubt it'll be quietly profiling us all for targeted marketing purposes, complete with its hallucinations. AI has already infected Facebook and there's no known way of completely removing it.

Me, I'm still using Office 2007. I can live without the bells and whistles of the more recent versions, and I can certainly live without the subscription crap. Whether or not it'll work on Win10 is another matter. Currently still doing very well on Win7.

Anxiety

I enjoy definition and analysis, both the process of analysis and the clear results. I rarely meet people like me in life, and there is only one person who has been chatting with me for a year. In the chat just now, I just realized that he relies on subjective feelings and experience. In fact, he doesn't like to talk about these things.
