I saw a front page story in the local newspaper about all the birds people found dead and dying of Avian flu on the beaches here in Cape Breton. I guess they'll have put all the beaches in lock down this summer. That'll be fun./s

I still remember all the alarmism about bird flu in the early 2000s. Looks like the alarmists were right. I read that people who aren't spending their around birds aren't likely going to catch it, but I know it will soon spread to domestic birds like chickens, and cats can get the flu and die from it from handling an infected bird. And the health care in Ca[e Breton is bad enough as it is, guess they'll have to use the local hockey arena for a morgue like they they were going to for covid victims. Covid, monkey pox, bird flu, what's next? Ebola, probably. Flesh eating bacteria. The Black Death.

Before I went to sleep, the tenosynovitis of the wrist broke out.
When I woke up, my eyelids were swollen and painful.

Tiramisu was not as good as expected.
Frozen lemon was a bit dry.

It's cold.

Going from insomnia to hypersomnia is always fun.

Kinda low on food over the weekend due to missing a window to get groceries (well, from Friday to Monday). It just means, which I would have mentioned, being unable to do as much activity, so lazybones Dill. My compulsive saver bones stopped buying extra cans of stuff. :| It's alright, though.

I've finished my passion fruit cake.
Salmon is also running out.
Mussels have some sand-like stuff in them and I have to throw them all away.

Edit: added a missing word

A day laborer had the nerve to call me "chino". In the past two weeks, three separate and different day laborers had the nerve to call me chino. s**t. And I am afraid that if I tattle on them all the day laborers will vandalize my worthless corpse on the way to the bus stop. There is only one of me and a lot of them.

Train stuck on tracks.

Kind of hot

A cashier kept telling me to load customers, even though Nichelle, Josh, and Roy were also working.

Marie worked Saturday. She usually doesn't do that.

Customer had the nerve to knock me on the back. Scared the s**t out of me
