The story behind my avatar is that I've decided to put last year behind and use an avatar that reflects the Mick Avory era and his way of thinking. I've also decided to take it one step farther and was inspired by those pictures where each Kink was holding up an alarm clock that was their favourite colour.

What's the story behind your avatar?

My avatar for the day is just what I love. Today it's my favorite coach and mascot.

Mine is a crop from this piece by Jonathon Earl Bowser.

He's got his own interpretation, but for me I chose it because water represents emotion and ATM mine is tumultuous. The woman walking in the midst of it is taming the wild waters, and that's exactly what I'm attempting to do for myself.

I'd take calm right now even if I had to give up tea forever.

The story of my avatar is told in many pages of "The Clean Chatroom", starting at page 110 or so :P

Mine is of my favorite cartoon, although back in the 90's I didn't watch a whole lot of it. Now that I rediscovered it, the show brings back a lot of good memories for me.

I was trying to think of a good avatar to replace my old one. I remembered seeing those "hipster Ariel" images via Google, and I thought that one of those would make a cool avatar.

Punk Rock is one of my special interests, so sometimes I put up an avatar reflecting that.

Mine is Morph. He is a plasticine character from an 80s art show for children, with the wonderful Tony Hart. It started out with just him, living in a pencil box, then his mate Chas arrived, and a whole family of other characters, and he got his own TV show.
