She did not do a goodbye thread which is her right that I respect.

I have noticed in my almost 10 years here, it is not uncommon for people to state they are leaving for good and come back in some form. I do think when when they said they are leaving for good they meant it. Time heals, they find the time for WP they did not think they would when their life evolved etc. Necrobumped threads do show plenty of people do leave for good.
