I have a friend and many people say we look alike. From my point of view i can't really see how we look that much alike but according too some people we have exactley the same hair. sometimes i can see the resemblance but it don't think the likeness we share is as great as people make it out too be.

I asked my mother about this and she said too me "You cant' see what other people can see"

What does my mother mean by that in more detail?

Like I said though ESSPECIALLY when we have the same hairstyle i can see likeness a lot more. When his hairstyle is differnet though i don't see the likeness that much.

Maybe I am not the person i thought i was? :(

Sometimes we see things others can't, and sometimes they see things we can't. I've been told by dozens of people that I look exactly like my dad and my sister, and I don't see it. I've been told by even more people that I have a strong "Southern" accent (I'm from Kansas) that I can't hear at all.

You simply can't see yourself. There are a lot more angles that everyone else sees you from than the single one you see in the mirror.

What other angles would they be?

Maybe it could be how you look from the side or the top down.... sometimes if you have exactley the same hair as somebody people may jus tlook at the hair and not notice other details in your appearence that might set you apart.

Also, what you see in the mirror is the opposite of what everyone else sees. If you think that doesn't make much difference, take a photo and flip it. :-)

Like for example, you can't really see the way you move from a mirror and you will never see yourself moving from behind in a natural way. You just will never have the opportunity to bump into yourself and see all the things that everybody else sees.

I'm pretty much average looking except for my eyes, so I often look like other people. (Not really my opinion)
