f.lux

F.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.

It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.

Free software. Beats manually tuning all the blue out of your screen at night, and dialling it back in at night. I got sick of doing that.

I think that's partly the point.

If you want to be roused, then ramp the blue right up on your monitor.

It's made my pooter more purple, but it's also made all the WP green much brighter. I may get a small migraine in celebration.

It's an epxeriment

Keep us posted. If they fall out, see a GP or eye specialist, or have them replaced with pickled onions

I only use my computer during the night. Guess I'll skip this one.

I had this recommended to me by a classmate (whom I think must have been AS). I use it all the time. I had ot manually set it to change GRADUALLY, but after that I forgot that I even had it installed. I seems to help me, a little. This is coming from someone whom most sleep meds do nothing for. And the change is so gradual that I never notice it. In fact, I forget to disable it temporarily for Photoshop work sometimes so my colors look funky on normal screens. (it has a 1 hour timer for this. Nice feature :) )
