Butter.
Sometimes, jam.
If available, cheese (especially blue cheese--yummy!).

Honey on toast appeals right now, though I probably have honey on toast about twice every lifetime

My favourite toast toppings:
Butter/sunflower spread type stuff
Peanut butter
Peanut butter and jam
Jam on its own
Peanut butter and banana
Soft cheese, especially phillidelphia!! Yummmm
Egg, I loooove fried eggy bread!
Any kind of meaty paste or patte, I'm rather a fan of salmon spread.

I'm going to have something like this for supper tonight. Angel hair pasta with Italian sausage, sweet onions, spinach, speghetti sauce with parmasan cheese on garlic butter toast.

Butter.

I'm really not one for fancy stuff. Nut butters are good too.
