Well this stone obviously wasn't naturally formed, it has to be man-made because of the smoothness and shape. I think it must have been a garden decoration that belonged to somebody who lived in our house before us and it got left in their back yard where over time it was burried with dirt, but I think the storm yesterday kind of washed the dirt up and that's how I was able to find it. I also found a red marble in the back yard (which isn't as interesting as a heart rock but I still have it
).
It might have even belonged to my grandparents, this was actually their house and after my grandmother died my grandfather gave the house to my Mom to live in so she could help take care of him (he has Alzhiemers). My grandmother used to have a big garden in the backyard so it could have been one of her decorations that got left in the ground.
