Dear Da Walker, Exactly how did you discover that cones are flame-retardant? You weren't actually trying to...Oh, TenPencePiece shall hear about this outrage!! He knows where to find cones with commando training, and he will give them your address! He has posted pictures of their secret Commando-Cone Training Facility, you know. I hope they bite your toes off....Sylkat

Dear SlyKat, don't tell him, but his cone is on Fire 8O

As far as thread hijacking, when there's a part of the thread that triggers an interest I end up having a flood of stuff to write come into my head (as opposed to my normal, very small amount of stuff to type). I guess it's basically the same as monologuing. I try to resist, but sometimes resistance is futile...

So, guilty.

In the case of threads with an extremely finite subject matter, they're usually having everything relevant said within the first few posts anyway. Tangential discussions after that point practically revive otherwise dead discussions.

I prefer the term "Thread Terrorist"

First, in order to successfully hijack a thread people need to actually discuss what you hijacked the topic to. If there is no discussion, there is no hijack. Second, the hijack needs to eventually have nothing to do with the original post, but the hijacking needs to be smooth. You got to be subtle so no one knows they are actually deviating away the topic. A good way to do this is to quote a relevant post, than make a controversal comment on it, or ask the poster a related question. Watch as things go onto a tangent.

Well, it's obviously because the fuse isn't lit.

I destroy universes with subspace inversion weaponry. They destroy two universes simultaneously because it's the same event.

Well, no. What's Brawl supposed to be? It sounds like a title of another Popstation version of Street Fighter.

Super Smash Bros Brawl, it's campaign thing involves subspace.

Ah, nope, not a reference to that. I was actually thinking more about one of the Star Trek movies. I've only played multiplayer in one of the earlier Super Smash Bros games which had Mew as a possible combatant. Telekinetic attacks were awesomeness.

That was Melee.
