For example, when my friends on Facebook talk about sports, music, politics, etc., I'm like "Who?" most of the time.

To some extent. I usually keep up on the news and know who some of the current pop music artists are, but if you make a reference to some super-popular TV show, there's a good chance I'll have no clue what you're talking about.

I'm actually fairly familiar with popular culture due to the fact that my family and I watch a lot of TV and I enjoy popular music.

To an extent, yes but I like alternative film and music, I also like many 90's artists and the 90's as a culture.

I'm out of touch with popular culture. I've lost interest when I was 14.

Yeah I can't say I have much interest in it...I mean I have a few actors I prefer to others in movies, but I don't really read up on their lives or anything because I don't really care that much. As for music I am obsessed with music, however not pop music of today...I don't mind what was considered pop in the 60's as I like a lot of popular music from that time but I don't like much of anything that's currently popular I prefer metal.

I don't like sports, and I do care what goes on in the world but politics seem to be largely just a popularity contest, I mean I think the democrats and republicans both suck....it's the same government it's not like these two parties actually stand for different things like they pretend.....but yeah that's enough about that.

Yes. I don't listen to music, watch sports, or watch any network tv except for Vampire Diaries.

I have better things to stress about than Snookies latest example of why some people are too dumb to live.

I dunno if I'd say I'm completely out of touch with pop culture, I hear enough of it 2nd hand. I just have little interest in the vast majority of it.

I have the misfortune of being fairly surrounded by them, but yes, uninterested is being generous

I think I feel like that. People talk about stuff I don't know about, or like things I just don't have an interest in, and I often feel out of place.

I vaguely know who a few pop culture icons are, but only because my classmates won't shut up about them. I think once I leave college I'll completely lose touch with that sort of thing.

Most of the time I'll keep up with today's pop culture. I don't keep up as much of the most popular shoe, like Pretty Little Liars or The Voice. I watch some shows on MTV and I like to watch old cartoons when they're on. I listen to a lot of mainstream music, but I also like to listen to alternative or metal music, as well as music that was mainstream during the 80's, 90's, & 00's.
