approach: uh proach
tourist: toor rist
pilers: idk this word, is this a mispelling of pillars?
janurary: jan you air eee
library: lie berry
fell: fell
tour: tore

I have a few words that I slur a bit. Some of this is due to my southern accent.

sounds like a regional accent thing going on. in the eastern part of my state, it is common to hear people say "WAR-shin-tun" instead of washington [WAW-shing-tn]. what really bothers me is when people say "OH-re-GONE" or "ORgun" instead of oregon [Oh-re-Gn].

approach: 'ah-p(r)oach' (the 'r' in parentheses indicates the slight pronunciation of the letter, much like how Barbara Walters talks, though not nearly as obvious).
tourist: Tür-iist (the 'ii' is much like the German long 'i' or the Arabic 'ii.'
pilers: pi-lairs (if you mean "pliers," that would be 'plai-ai(r)s.'
janurary: zha-njür-ari (the 'j' is akin to the Germanic 'j')
library: lai-brary
fell: fell
tour: tor or tür
Words with two consecutive 'r's tend to be trilled, hence "hurry" sounds much like 'hürrii.'

i say "wool" instead of "well"
and sometimes i slip into different accents. so a lot of times i'll say "a boot" instead of "about" ... and "a dolt" instead of "adult"

LOL this is kind of pointless. Everybody is using their own phonetic system to write the things down, so you still can't tell how they pronounce the words.

You would really need to make a video or a soundclip (or else write down the pronunciation in a universally recognised way) for people to be able to know what sound you are trying to write down.

Otherwise, it's not just a case of: "how do you say these words?" but also a case of "how do you say the words you've written down that are supposed to be telling us how you say the original words?"
