I don't think it would be weird at all.

I reckon he means in a Silence Of The Lambs kind of way. Shortly after I'd just seen that I booked rehearsal room to hold auditions. The guy at the desk was total hair band dude, I'm guessing he was hetero. He gets up to show me to the room, and he's got a poodle on a leash. I'm following him and the whole time I'm thinking "replace the lotion in the basket". I am so glad that one didn't go from brain to mouth

I've almost got a mind to rock a poodle on a leash. You know, to go with that whole big truck/ loud motorcycle/ pit bull thing

No, it'd wouldn't be weird at all, although people might think you to be gay.

Go for it and tell us what happens! :D

poodles are ok if you've got a fur allergy and yorkie's are ok if you like dogs that bark a lot and like to be carried everywhere!

Yorkies are good for people with fur allergies too. My folks have a couple. And the tendency to bark can be trained out of them. The older one has already learned that barking will get her nowhere while being quiet will get her picked up and petted. Still working on the puppy.

Yeah, some people see these dogs as kinda effeminate. But who cares?

I don't think it would be weird. Single men who own cats are also stereotyped as effeminate or gay, but I don't care. It's a stupid stereotype and there is nothing wrong with being gay anyway. As a heterosexual man, you'd only show that you are secure enough in your sexuality to not give a damn about other people's opinions.

I've got a friend, he's 6-4 about 280 and all muscle, black guy covered in tattoos, straight as a summer's day is long, did 14 years in prison for killing somebody and was in a gang when he was a teenager, he's got a little weiner dog that he takes everywhere with him, even carries the dog around in his arms. Nobody would dare say a word to him about that. He has sweaters for that dog too. Dresses him up in Alabama football sweaters. If people think it's wierd they sure don't say a word about it.
