I remember watching a lot of Spiderman and Tom & Jerry. It's a shame that the originals of these cartoons aren't on, anymore.

hmm... childhood...

Big Loader. Watching that thing go round, and pick up the balls, and put them in the scoop, and carry them to the back of the other truck, and drive them up the hill and into the big hopper, then the clumsy truck drops them all over the track again. There's stuff about it here:

http://www.creativeteachingsite.com/bigloader.htm

What else...

Watching cartoons on saturday morning. Heckle and Jeckle on video!
Safeway salt and pepper chipsticks. Not the big maize things, but actual potato.
Minichips. Salt and vinegar. Makes my mouth water just thinking about them.
Breaking my fingers.
Breaking the other fingers (or rather, having them broken for me "so they'd match")
Playing ghostbusters at primary school.
The school boiler breaking and us all being sent home, to find no-one there.
Programming all the Spectrums at Boots (back when Boots sold pooters)
Getting bored playing Mortello Tower on the school BBC-B and hacking it.
Going on holiday to Malta, swimming miles, getting horrendous sunburn.
And then going bowling, getting a strike, and being patted on the back. Yowch!
Our pet dog sitting so close to the gas fire she burned the hairs on her tail. Repeatedly.
Jumping off a 15 foot high wall with my jumper as a parachute, just to see if it worked.

Will, Wow, I have lots of memories!

I remember being obsessed with animals and wanting to be one (I'm a "furry" now.. People just thought I was pretending but I was serious.)

One of the phycologst I was forced to see because my biological mother was mentaly rearded and the social services people wanted to make me as normal as possible as soon a possible said I was phycotic

I remember being obsessed with cats (cats seem to be obsessed with me today)

I was also obsessed with The Lion King

I once glued a picture to the wall with wood glue at 4 in the morning.

I would take chapstick and smear it all over walls.

I also shoved another girl to the ground in kindergarden and held her there and it took several teachers to get me off of her.

My 2nd grade teacher would tie kids to chairs.

I bit my 4th grade teacher.

I got suspended from school at least once a week.

I held up the school bus because I would not surrended my stuffed animals that were written into the IEP (I still have them today). He got into huge trouble too.

I impaled my foot with a pitchfork
Bit 2 chunks out of an older student when i was 6
lighting the school oval on fire when it turned dry (never got caught!) it burned slowly across the massive oval, and was 1/3 burnt when the fire engine came and put it out. It's ironic because i was burning the muster area for the fire drill :P

I...really don't remember all that much. There's bits and pieces. From that it probably sounds like many peoples' early childhood. That goes up to about four years ago for me. I'm only 22. I've been to Costa Rica and China, the first when I was around 9 or 10 years old, the second when I was 17. I don't remember Costa Rica barely at all, save for a couple freeze-frames that stuck in my head, or really short amounts. China, its a little better, more like the occasional 30 second burst. There's no real coherence to them though.

One thing I don't remember directly but that my mother has told me is that at one point, I got in trouble for something and was told to go to my room. ( I think I was around 4, maybe 5?) I did, and took a bunch of toys out of my closet and started playing with them. My mother came in at one point to check on me, wanted to be mad, but couldn't. I had done what I was told to do, after all. It was what she hadn't told me to do that she was upset about.

one thing that really sticks out in my childhood is when one of my cousins died and how small the world felt when she wasn't around to play with me

I remember:

Lots and lots of childrens tv.
Going to the zoo when I was really small, falling in love with the Cereopsis geese and being really into all kinds of birds ever since.
Spending hours at a time collecting ladybirds in the garden, then setting them free in my Dad's greenhouse so they'd eat all the greenfly.
Having whooping cough and being off school for so long that the school thought I'd left.
Writing poetry at every given opportunity.
Reading.. lots.
Not having any friends, being bullied because I was 'strange'.
Eating my lunch on the toilet, at school.
Being too shy to talk to anyone at school but winning first prize two years running when having to make a prepared presentation on subjects I was passionate about.
