I wonder if there are any people that I went to school with who are now parents who post on here from time to time. I also wonder if there might be other people that I've known in my life who also post on here.

Sometimes I feel paranoid that my former best friend and love interest will find out that I use this forum and see all the times I've mentioned her in my posts and it will start a war between us again. I've never used her real name on here (not even in PMs) but I've used other identifying information, like her ethnicity and certain details about our friendship and arguments, not to mention the fact that the state she lives (or used to live) in is part of my username.

Same thing goes for posts I've made about various family members, particularly my siblings.

My aspie boyfriend is a member and posts on occasion and i know he searches through and reads my posts sometimes.. I also know of 4 aspies in real life who come on here on occasion. They mostly lurk.

My ex husband has stalked me on here but he stalks me everywhere and really it is his issues that he needs to deal with. I don't really care what he learns about me.

 No! Death to all scooters!

You're looking for a Suzuki 600 with a real short chick with sexy boots. ;)

I probably wouldn't mind if it was someone who was a member here. Just nobody outside of that *shrug*

I'm still trying to figure out how you make it up there on a bicycle. I still haven't figured it out yet!

Sometimes I wonder if my last ex still lurks here. Last time I saw, he had not logged in here since September 2008. But he can still lurk and not be logged in.

HEY now! At least it's not a cage!

On a cheapo Chinese scoot I can always outfilter any big bike in city traffic, it's a little thing called not having to shift and lose momentum! My worst buzzkill is being stuck behind a rider who keeps having to play with the clutch.

ANYway I know of 1 guy here who is in one of my interest communities, being a teacher who works with auties but who's to say whether he's on the charts himself, I tend to think he might be, I don't want to bug him though he seemed cool IRL

Well yellow Kona kapu lugged frame , hairy legs, mountain bike shorts , with a roadie jersey., rain jacket to keep warm (I've broken every roadie rule here) :D

I'm not sure if it's the aspie speaking (retro grouch) but I could never be part of the cafe crowd  with their uber light carbon bikes, at least if my steal road bike "fails" I could still ride home,

Carbon and it's off to hospital or the dentist for some very expensive dental surgery

Oh I made it up Mount Glorious to  , though I was weak and pathetic and had to stop to catch my breath 1/2 dozen times or so

I can only think of one guy. I haven't seen him in almost 6 years, though. :?

I'm seriously confused on how I'm supposed to make myself interesting and lovable to you , if I can't do that what would be the point of me being in your company? I think I'll keep in the company of my birdies their easy :) all i need to do is babie talk and be petted on the head and their happy, unless your up for that sort of thing to ?

The thing is I'd find it unbelievable any one would want me in their company , to be honest i'd think less of that person if they did  especially so when I had a run in with a aspie lady member who claimed "the men at the meet ups ether irritated her or aroused her self pity"* which really hit home with that observation, 8O I pasted her thoughts in a "lack confidence thread" and she apologised apparently she has an aspie mate and things are "going great" I wonder if thats still the case (she's still lurking around here so I might ask her)

*I did ask her if she thought it was a one way street to which I did not get a response :P

I know of two users who know me. One of them came on the site years ago, and I don't know if that person's still around; the other I was the one who directed that person here. Other than that, I do know of a couple people who were diagnosed with AS in high school, but I'm not sure if they'd be here :? Would be pretty cool to reconnect, though!

is it just me who finds that guy creepy ?

I wouldn't let my kid ( if I had one) be in his company unless it was that fat bratish rich kid that drowned in the choclate pool , did he drown ?

It's been many years since I've seen the movie .

I was actually about to start a thread stating all the overt aspieness I find in Willy Wonka and Charlie. That whole movie for me plays like a lot of NTs in the world; greedy, impulsive, disrespectful, spoiled, addicted to TV, brash, loud, rude, and then there are the parents. 1 by 1 they all get picked off by their lack of self-control, leaving Charlie, having all the qualities that Wonka himself possessed, although the quirks may come along later in life for Charlie.

Topic wise, I've whispered the site in a few brick-and-mortar people's ears so they may have joined without my knowledge

I've met at least two people who say they visit here once in a while. Would be impossible to identify them though, methinks.
