What idols did/do you have?

My idol always was - and still is, kind of - Lara Croft.

I thought her life was pretty awesome, because
- she's rich
- she has a big beautiful house WITHOUT NEIGHBOURS :o
- she doesn't do a stupid boring job
- she's athletic and beautiful
- she's alone a lot of the time
- she's intelligent and headstrong

Wayne Gretzky was my childhood hero. He was a great hockey player and he played for the Edmonton Oilers for many years. He was also born in Canada, as well. :)

My childhood idol was Balto, from the animated movie of the same name. I loved him because he was an outcast like me, but he wound up saving the day and becoming a hero; everyone loved him in the end. Not to mention that he was incredibly brave and never gave up, which are qualities that I don't believe that I possess, neither as a child nor as an adult.

I had a major crush on Maya (Catherine Schell) of Space 1999 and
Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) when I was 5.
My other favorites would be:
Starbuck ,Apollo and Commander Adama from Battlestar Galactica
MacGyver
Tom Baker (Doctor Who)
Most of the characters on Kung Fu (Tv series) :D

im going to leave out fictional characters. steve irwin was mine. he inspired a love of animals and the environment in me that lasted all my childhood and that i became known for. i still remember being told when he died. i think my opinion of him now is a little different.

I'm a fan.

I didn't have any idols as a kid. The idol I have now is the iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove. She's one of the few idols out there I consider to be a good role model. She's smart, mature, responsible, sweet, funny, wholesome., & she's putting her acting career on hold to go to college

Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee and Eowyn of Rohan especially, but all of the "good guys" in LOTR.
