I bought some nerd stuff yesterday.

Got two Lego Minifigure blindbags (and I got the one I wanted the most, the rococo aristocrat in one of them - of course I did feel through the bags to find her), a couple Transformers figures (Legacy Evolution Core-class Slug and Sludge), plushies of Kome Kome and Cure Finale from Delicious Party Precure, and a Sailor Neptune Q-Posket figure (I already had Sailor Uranus but didn't have her girlfriend).

Yesterday I bought these two blind bag toys called "Baby Secrets". They're small plastic baby dolls that come in a toy bathtub, and when you put them in warm water their diaper turns blue or pink, revealing their gender. And then I thought, "They're still making dolls that have a 'gender reveal', and it's either only male or female. Even though they're babies that's sooo very wrong!" Although the boy baby is wearing sparkly, silvery cat ears and mittens, which might look more like something for a girl. But the girl is a wearing pink bib and a sparkly pink bowl on her head, so they've failed They also both have pale skin, and everyone knows that's racist! All dolls must be medium to deep brown, now!

Sarcasm. It's an art. And I've seen much more sexist, stereotypical gender reveal toys from when I was still young. Like one time there were these plush puppies where if it was a girl it would come with an outfit that was something pink and frilly, while a boy puppy would come with a baseball uniform or whatever. They're dogs, they're not even human and they were forcing the gender roles on them.
