writing in telegram format for fun?

I just got this idea. Anyone tried it? I just thought of it so I haven't. It would be funny to send a message to someone that way.

I've only received one telegram in my life and it want good news, if it wasn't for that it wold sound like a fun prank.

I want to do this to people stop I wonder if there is some underground group of people who send texts tweets and other text based communications in telegram form stop

(note that commas, hyphens and other punctuation counted as a short word due to the effort required to transmit them, hence the reason I did not use them in the actual reply)
