Alternatives to virgin mobile cell service

I cancelled my Virginia mobile service this morning, due to the cost. I have an iPhone 4S that was on this service. I was planning to port this phone over to Ting. I am unable to port this phone to ting. When I called ting customer service, they are telling me that they are unable to port any virgin mobile handsets to ting, even though both services are using sprint's network, because of how virgin programs their network. Are there any other sprint MVNO that I can use with this phone? If not, what do I need to do to make this phone compatible with ting?
