Here in the states, it's the day of the big game, also known as the Super Bowl. I'm wondering if anybody plans on watching it for the game content? When I do watch it, it's usually for the advertisements. I attended a super bowl party or two, where we actually paused the party for the ads, and muted the game during play time.

I'm planning on it.

BTW, this belongs in Random Discussion, not General.

I don't have a horse in that race, so it's sort of a "eh!" to me. Even if the local team for our area was involved, I'm not really into Football [American or otherwise].

On the other hand, if people I know were to have a get together today and food was involved, I'd most likely be there if invited.

Since the local team isn't involved, tho', nobody's doing anything, so I'll end up having nukeable frozen pizza for supper.

Here's a clue.

It's not a discussion about autism, so it's not really for the Autism Discussion forum! :P

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".

Never met a football jock I didn't despise.

I will never understand what entertainment value anyone derives from watching pituitary Neanderthals assault each other, individually or in packs.

I'm watching it. But I prefer to watch baseball or hockey and I am looking forward to the Winter Olympics because I like watching people play in the snow.

Living in Seattle there's no way I could pass on it. It's half-time as week speak and the Seahawks are on top, 22-0. Not bad.

I am watching anything BUT it, as I have said to many of the people who have posted online that I know - just about the ONLY thing I like about being in modern day is I can have a DVR and netflix on the times sports take over life so I have something to watch.

but I do look forward to seeing the commercials when posted later after the game, many of them are fun, the ONLY time I watch commercials, I zip through them any other time. I don't even pay attention to them during the one sport I watch NASCAR & Indy racing.
