I should at least define a few (as I see them in a nutshell. If I get any wrong feel free to point it out).

homosexual- love for the same physical sex

heterosexual- opposite sex

bisexual- both sexes

asexual- no sexual attraction

autosexual- attracted to yourself

pansexual- attraction based on emotion and feeling

transexual- gender doesn't match physical sex


I hope no debate or controversies spring up from this. Some people believe that homosexuality is some disease and against the Bible and such, but I believe that the orientation is something natural and predetermined at birth. Seeing how homosexuality itself has been observed in over 500 animal species it's pretty safe to say that the animals don't mind it all :3

I am pansexual with the belief that if the personality goes together then the love can be lasting and stable. I have a boyfriend but he is somewhat feminine so his persona wears a skirt and when we play MMOs and such he uses a female character. I don't mind this at all, though some people assume we are lesbians I think it's just cute to be together ^^

What do you mean that you beleive that certain forms of sexuality are predetermined? Bipolar disorder, adhd, and aspergers autism are all charactoristics in personality. The same applies to homosexuality.. If you look up homosexual male singles on the internet dating systems you will find a certain charactoristic in the way that they structure their thought processes. This is shown by the way that they write when they are describing themselves etc... However, this is stereotyping. Society appears to not assume variation and a reason for a variation in a persons characoristic. Society needs a very prescise explaination for everything because society is full of defective brains and defective personalities. Defective brains' and defective personalities are all flawd when it comes to people who are different - different than eithers societies concensus of the norm or of a religions version of the norm. There is a biology to "homosexuality". But this is very vague. In an example of what I am saying is like saying that heterosexuality is not genetic. Sexual intercourse or sexual attraction are different things. So this is why it goes along in the catagory of stereotypes, predeterminism of behaviors, or predeterminism of sexual behaviors.

Ah, from what I got you can't exactly change your sexuality. Some people would claim that being homosexual is a choice but if that's the case they themselves could try to look at a photo of the same sex and find it attractive. o:

Well, yeah... You know that I wasn't trying to impose on you, of course. This is just a sensitive subject to me because of the B.S that I can collect in this world that has to do with that. From what you said, I can support that by saying that testosterone and estrogen both have different effects on sexual behavior. How could we take away the biology of sex? This also applies to what you wrote of the "seeing it on a photo" explaination.

And men who are gay are not gay because they have different hormones such as estrogeon circulating in their blood. If that were true than they would be a woman. Estrogen causes a medical condition in men. Estrogen is harmful to testes. Certainly, it is a matter of how their brains function. It is not because men are supposed to be a certain way.

You left out intersex, which is definitely not a "choice," and probably provides a hint into all sexual variants.

I see, there is not much I know on the subject but I will add in intersex. I wasn't talking as much hormones as the attraction in general o: Could you just wake up one day and decide what sex you want to be attracted to?
