Many of us have jobs, not to mention other interests and obsessions. Personally, I like an afternoon nap on my day off.

Business cycles are related to human psychology. So if people do not feel comfortable buying products as much the same logic may apply to posting on a forum site.

Random hybernation genes, storing up energy for spring. My ebay sales nose dived, I made some great buys, when they get hyper again, I will sell it back. Ride the wave!

I don't know. I would guess the time doesn't matter.

I suppose some people have more of a life than just sitting around on a forum 24/7. I personally like to go out to the local art gallery each day and do some shopping and generally get away from my laptop and associate with fresh air a little bit.

Yes, I believe that!

It makes the day go by that much faster if you have something to do.

For me, WP's active areas are in the morning, around 9-11, then again at 4-6 o'clock, third time round 9-11(pm), and finally at 2-3 in the morning (and on some days I've been around for all peak times).
