i went on a cruise once. it was a smaller ship. during the days we had time on our own to explore a different carribean island each day. in the evening there was a structured activity on board. one night a steel drum band played for us. another night there was a costume contest. one night we had an informal folk song sing-along. the outfit was called windjammer barefoot cruises. alcohol was available, but no one over did it. i would do it again.

Oh dear! I went on a cruise once it was okay. Whenever I left the social area into a quite bathroom, hallway etc it was really calming but I had a good time because most people got off the boat to go on the island so it was relatively quite.

In the cruise I went in the casino wasn't loud, I had to avoid the pool during the day because it was packed and there was loud music playing (of the terrible kind). On the last day I was homesick.

My idea of a "cruise" is floating on an air mattress in a swimming pool with no one around except maybe a lifeguard on duty.

The ideal cruise for me would be having the entire place all to myself. With of course the captain and maybe the staff members.

I don't see why cruises are so appealing. Why would I want to be trapped on a boat with hundreds of other people for a week? I enjoy travel, but cruises kind of defeat the purpose of it.
