That's a typo, it was for my cat. I want my cat to be immortal.

Seems like a brilliant plan, what could possibly go wrong?

Since Raleigh isn't here right now, even if the rest of you aren't drinking, we can all go to THE BAR, I bet there's popcorn & stuff!

Where's Kuraudo? I always enjoyed her posts. Her posts lighten up me when I am feeling down. She's a great person.

I've almost lost Barb as a friend today because of her ableist son. I wish that her son would just shut up.

The Woman's Welsh Traditional Costume That Legend Says Stopped An Invasion

During the last invasion of Britain at Fishguard in Wales in 1797 , the French troops were incredibly drunk. They had found a grounded Portuguese shipwreck and on board its cargo was wine. The troops decided to drink it right there, right then, then tried to invade Britain. Apparently they saw thousands of British troops, lost heart and surrendered. There were no troops in the area and legend has it that thousands of Welsh women in traditional costume turned up to see the commotion the French were making and from a distance with wine goggles they were mistaken for British army redcoats.

^ I'm surprised that Frenchmen couldn't do better than, "I'm sorry, Miss, I mistook you for a six foot tall infantryman."

It's nice to know I'm so appreciated! :D

I'm still around, sort of. It's tricky balancing time for three forums at once.
