Go on Wikipedia and pick a hairstyle.
Share its name and a short explanation as to why you've picked it. :)

Afro - Big hair hairstyle, featured heavily in African-American culture, popular through the late 1960s and 1970s in the United States of America
The reason why I chose - I looks cool someday I want to try this style.

Crew cut - "A crew cut is a type of haircut in which the hair on the top of the head is cut relatively short, graduated in length from the longest hair at the front hairline to the shortest at the back of the crown. The hair on the sides and back of the head is usually tapered short, semi-short or medium." (Pasted from that link)

I picked this because it seems to be my hairstyle. I think this hairstyle is universal enough to never look decade-specific and old-fashioned. Also even the ugliest men would look decent with this hairstyle.

Slicked-back - Hair that is combed back, away from the forehead, then held in place with a Hairstyling product.

It's nice to see his hairstyle in movies, I like to make my hair look like that in the shower.

I like both bowl cut and curtained too much to pick one.

Mullet~ The mullet is the hairstyle that is considered "business in the front (and sides), and party in the back.

I picked this because of the way I'm losing my hair I might grow one without a haircut in afew years.

Mop Top

A mid-length haircut that has a fringe (bangs) that brushes over the forehead, collar length at back, with the ears partly covered by the hair, dependent on style. Was made popular by The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr)

It matches my gender identity and expression.

i have always had the "pageboy style".
i also like it on girls, but the reason i have that hairstyle is because that is the way my hair has been style since i was very young, and i just have never changed it.

here is the back of my head to show my hair style.
(i realized earlier on this site back in about 2009 that posting face shots predisposes me to some people who are less interested in what i have to say).

Bun/ chignon. Easy, functional, and can be either casual or formal. :)

Chignon. It is less of a style, than a collection of styles, since it is just the name for hair collected at the base of the neck. Through it can be casual, varieties of Chignon (or whatever the plural is) are often used for formal events, when people are looking their finest. They can be straight, braided, or tousled, in my opinion, they cannot be on the top of the head.

I think part of the attraction for me, is that it is a somewhat crude (and possibly inaccurate) indicator of personality - in my experience, the loudmouth ignorants tend more often to have high pony tails/top buns, and the nicer people (or people I like more) have tended to have lower pony tails, buns, or chignons.

Feathered hair. Not only is it classy and retro, but it is somewhat easy to maintain.

Yep----'cept, when he doesn't blow it out, he's got a "Jewfro". (Recall the episode when they all first came-back from the Antarctic.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I like just plain "Long Hair"----speaking from experience (I can almost sit on my hair), it's the CHEAPEST hairstyle. I also LOVE "Fishtail hair"----I wish I could figure-out how they do it. Also, whenever I've had short hair, I've always had a D.A.----I just LOVE the way it feathers.
