A friend asked me to house-sit for a few months. I moved in and one day a stray dog came up to me like I was an old friend. I asked a local who was sat near by what was going on and he said that maybe she thought I needed looking after. After this she has shown that she is friendly and has acknowledged me when I go out or get home. Today I went to get a car into town and she walked about 50yds from me.
This afternoon she just walked along with me like she was my dog. Luckily she didn't get into the car. When I got home she just came through the gate and went back outside. I thought that she wanted water to drink but she turned her nose up when I presented her with some.
She is lying down outside my gate right now. I don't really need a dog but she is really putting the pressure on.
