Tornadoes are very inconsiderate in that way. :D

Signs of Spring:
-The temperatures are boarding on 'too hot for clothes' levels.
-Everyone (including my cat) is sneezing.

Indeed, they are very inconsiderate. :)

I hate hearing the wind from inside my apartment all day long. Yesterday it was terrible. I have a lot of windows in my apartment and of course they are tight enough that dust settles all over everything but not tight enough to keep the moaning and howling down. Sometimes it sounds like the place is haunted. :)

It's much quieter now, but I think I will have to stuff cotton in the ears the next time it's windy out. Why is March always so windy? And why do people act as if it will stop the second it's April?

^^^ I find what blocks out wind noises is a brown or pink noise generator, in my case a large box fan.

The birds won't shut up; they start chirping before dawn. Loudly. And then I can't sleep.

Yeah, I do need to get something like a large fan. I had a little noise generator, but it only drowned out sounds of a certain frequency, and I could hear the "white noise" repeating itself on a loop.

I've used a 20" box fan for that purpose for decades now, just make sure the one you get doesn't have a rattle in it [or at least a rattle that you can't fix].

I've been hearing Red-Winged Blackbirds lately, and the crows are getting all excited for spring! :D

My neighbors have re-filled their swimming pools. This is a sure sign that Spring is coming to California!
