I think I had laughing gas at the dentist when I was about 5 and it made me sick.

Once but it didn't help much. I felt like I was crying in slow motion because I wasn't numb enough.

I think I had some at a party once. I was already drunk. I think it did nothing. Maybe I'm not susceptible to its effects? I'd like to try something that would give me an enlightening experience. Deep thoughts, and different sensations. Not like being "high", but being able to think/experience in a different way for awhile.

Being given gas when I had to get ear tubes as a kid, which was maybe every other month, was bad enough and I hated it. At least if I'm just given a numbing injection for a filling I can leave as soon as it's over and there's no post-op side effects other than still feeling numb.
