I like the name - I think it's very pretty. My mother likes it too, she just didn't like the nicknames. :)

Bazza, I know people with names on that list. Older people too (although there are some younger ones) - my mother's name is on there, as well as some of her friends.
I've never heard of Citlali before, but I like it very much.

I was almost named either Elizabeth (would've been called either Lizzie or Eliza) or April. But I apparently have a cousin named Elizabeth and Mom didn't want people to call me April-May-June (she got that a lot being named June).

If I were a boy, I would've been named Christian.

There was once this family on Nanny 911 where the kids were named Camden, Cloe, Keagan, and Kylie. The kids were total nightmares, but their names were adorable!

When I get cats I want to name them "Cat" in different languages. I could have a "Neko", "Gato", "Chat", "Katze", "Koshka".

I dunno, my dad decided I had my mom's name, Diana Laura.

But my grandma wanted to name my mom Miriam before she found the name Diana Laura attractive.

If my grandma were named my mom Miriam, my name would be Miriam too!

And my 18 year old sister, who was named Miriam Alexandra, would be named with a different first name.

My mother wanted to name me Dante. My Nona forbade it,
on the grounds that "it wasn't a first name." :P

Anyhow, some 17 years later, she got to name my brother
that, since the old lady was dead.

I can see a kid getting a nickname based on a mis-spelling of that.

Ahayes,

Those would all be very cute names for a cat. In Thai, my Siamese cat's name would be Cho'fa. (Prince)
