Bugs Bunny saying "what's up, doc?" isn't dumb. Unless you travel for miles through a hot, steamy jungle in search of Dr. Livingston, and then when you finally do find him, you ask "What's up, doc?", and then laugh hysterically like Bert and Ernie did.

My favorite Bugs Bunny quote is, "Anyone For Tennis?" I used that as a speech title to describe my first day of tennis lessons. I picked up a tennis racquet for the first time at age 50, a late age to begin lessons, but my instructor has taught people even older, who are now participating in senior tournaments.

That doesn't work because AFAIK that didn't happen in the Bible.

But in Genesis the Lord actually does provide Abraham with a "ram" (the animal) to sacrifice on an alter (like Adam and Eve had an apple/Apple).

Hence the dumbness of the quote

Romeo and Juliet is such a dumb play. I mean, the idea of "true, eternal love" was totally copied from Twilight!
