What's with Kidz Bop?

Why does Kidz Bop exist? I know when I was a kid, I liked hearing the original singer sing a song, not some kids singing it.

They take out the curse words and sexual content. My kids love it. You should hear the Kidz Bop version of Gangnam Style - it's hilarious!

They're just trying to make popular songs with lyrics not suitable for children with the lyrics changed so that they are suitable, even if they make no sense. Songs these days are just full of swear words, it's gross and ugly. But taking out everything even slightly violent or sexual is really dumb.

No parent wants to hear their 8-year-old singing the words to a very sexual or swear-filled song. I'm pretty sure even my mom would have flipped if she heard me singing "Like a Virgin" when I was a kid in the 80's, even if I didn't understand any of it.

There exist censored versions of songs that have the original singer. Censorship can occur without the Kidz Bop.

I think the school system is seriously failing those kids because they cant even spell Kids correctly.
