My wife is from Trinidad.

Those are almost brand new bills. It's nothing like the old $50 note.

I think the bills are plastic too. Cool from Trinidad. Been to a couple islands around Trinidad but not Trinidad. People usually don't know about the main ethnicities in Trinidad. I went to an island close to Trinidad where the language was a mixture of 4 languages: Dutch, African, Spanish, & something else.

That is quite festive and fun. I bet it costs more to print money like that which is interesting to think of.. The money needed to print money.

In case your palladium supply is getting low (or your ballerina supply), you can replenish it for about $2500/oz.

I scrolled slightly too far and thought it was a guitar pick....

In my defense, it might actually work...in a pinch.

Don't take any wooden nickels on leap day.

This is nicknamed "watermelon note" because the zeros look like cantaloupes. I mean watermelons.

Wow, you almost have to believe that was intentional.

I think this gold half-eagle was one of the most striking designs the US ever produced. It's also one of the few (the only?) incuse (intaglio) designs ever used. Some people objected to that, claiming that dirt would accumulate in the grooves and make the coin unsanitary.

The quarter eagle has the same design. I wonder how wear is graded on those.
