Before this month, I had never heard of cold-brewed coffee. Now, it seems to be everywhere I look. It's at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, every local coffee shop, the grocery store, gas stations...everywhere I turn, I see ads for the "New cold-brewed coffee!"

Why is this suddenly all over the place? It seems like every place in the country that sells coffee secretly conspired to start selling cold-brew coffee right at the same time. It isn't like this is some new invention or anything - cold-brew coffee has been around for a few hundred years.

Maybe marketing has made it popular & all those places decided to embrace the trend.
