Hi! I’m really excited I got jumping beans and I can’t wait for the moths to grow!!

Those two things sound like fun, though I don't know what they mean :P. What color are the beans? Why do they jump? Does the jumping motivate the moths to grow so that they can one day beat the beans, soaring high above them in flight?

The beans are tannish brownish and they jump when they are mildly heated. The beans are actually seed pods with moth larva in them. The larva will grow into full moths.

Are they a specific kind of moth? There are so many colors and patterns that are lovely. This for example:

I’m not sure what kind of moths they are specifically but we’ll see. Thats a very beautiful moth!
