Such a beautiful song and singer, sad that she died at such a young age, she had a ton of potential.

Didn't the remaining members end up making the band Zirkonium? If not, I must be thinking of another band called Elis.

Continuing with the topic at hand:

Haus Arafna: "Colony Collapse."

I've heard of this band many years ago and decided to listen to a song of theirs, not knowing much else other than their band name (a reference to Dr. Mennecke's euthanasia program for epileptic males -- not unusual for a band to use a provocative title to ruffle some feathers). After listening to a few songs, it became abundantly clear what this duo stood for - at least in my opinion. I dislike the overall neo-fascist aura the band exudes (as if the name wasn't obvious enough, the other songs all seem to have titles that suggest their political affiliation). I am acutely aware of many industrial acts being accused of supporting the far Right despite the fact that said bands openly oppose any fascist train of thought and use the imagery and lyrical content to convey their distaste for the far Right or to artfully criticize certain actions or laws (especially capital punishment). Haus Arafna seems to be in support of white supremacy and neo-fascism, often touring with openly-WS bands like Boyd Rice's NON and Death In June. From an artistic standpoint, they do a great job of conveying the fear experienced by people detained in death camps, the oppression of the Nazi party and the innumerable atrocities wrought by the hands of Nazi party members. Despite the powerful imagery, I cannot bring myself to give them a positive review due to their seemingly WS stance. It's hard to listen to a band whose members would have no qualms about killing you or your ancestors on grounds of race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or political affiliation.

Evidently all of their videos are as strange as "Rhythm of Time."
