I never make threads about anything on here because I rarely have anything to say or ask that hasn't been said or asked before.
I went to my very first furry event yesterday. It was a large halloween party down in Orlando. Not only was it my friend's and my first time going on a road trip without our parents, but it was also the first event at which I had fun dancing. I never, ever dance. A mixture of being self-conscious around people I know, the lack of music that I like, and other similar factors, I just never like to engage in the act at parties. In fact, parties are boring for me. But for some reason, being in a group of people like this, I just couldn't help myself. I was there from 6 to 1:30. I danced 80% of the time. Another thing is that I've finally accepted the furry fandom.
At first I thought it was something I was forcing upon myself in an attempt to open up to the possibility of making new friends. But now, being a furry and interacting with these people feels so very natural that I've come to question why I hadn't joined formally when I first looked into it back at the end of 2008 coinciding with the time I first found out what they were. They seemed weird to me back then. Hell, really weird. The prospect of dressing up as an animal was alien, but now I have a half finished fursuit head sitting in my closet that I'm finishing tonight. I feel like I belong and I've never felt a sense of belonging such as this since I went to my first Star Wars convention.

I'm going to upoad videos, but what I want to ask is when was the last time you guys truly had a blast. And I mean legitimately.

Some videos I took.

The most fun that I've recently had was at the courtyard BBQ where I live.

I've had fun recently with a friend at an art festival. It was full of interesting art and other things people make. I like to support people who go to these kinds of events because they make really special and different things.

Last year I also went and I saw a really cool woman there who makes napkin rings to be able to make napkin roses and I use it when I have guests.

This year I found a glass green bottle shaped like a Buddha night light for when I initially get into my condo and its dark. As soon as you turn on the light it turns off.

these things make me happy every time I see or use them.

I got cable re-installed. That's as fun as it gets around here lately. A real hoot and a holler.

Had total loads of fun recently, the main reasons are getting a lot of great gifts for my birthday and christmas, going out to fun places with my youth group (such as trampolining, golf and diners), enjoying college with my friends and doing all of my drawings. Some great moments that happened from last year onwards :)

Smuggling cookies at work. And no one noticed.

Lifting 5 gallons of water. I'm not kidding, installing those on a water dispenser kinda makes me laugh than tired.

Sneaking in the middle of the night, end up walking the streets for over 3 km and back.

And taking a sunflower seed from a dried sunflower. I take one every week as long as it's still there.

Going out with a friend to our monthly appointment at the hairdresser, and going out to eat afterward.

@Shortfatbalduglyman: I can relate, I like psychotherapy too tho sometimes remembering stuff makes me sad/scared/angry.

@Justkillingme: I can relate to that too; I love love LOVE looking at apartments and pricing them on Kijiji, imagining going and living in a bigger place. But for now I'm staying where I am, and I like it; I have my own little place that all my stuff fits in and even more will fit in.

Oh, and by the way, I had a lot of fun with my friends in the common room where I live tonight, just drinking too much coffee and making crude jokes and laughing at ourselves and others in the house.

Thus far the current counselor is splendid

But all it takes is one bad or wrong statement and it could all go haywire

The previous counselor just asked "how does that make you feel?"

Glad she asked, but got the impression that she had no clue what she was doing

What, if anything, she was doing :D
