Do you think there might be such thing as a ghost? And why should they be feared if they actually exist? What's really so scary about a ghost?

I think they are possible. I don't see why they have to be scary. I think it is possible I have been visited twice by people in the process of dying and another person who died. If that was the case, I think they clumsily were trying to navigate their new world in order to communicate. I think I will never know.

Ghosts are welcome to haunt my house under two conditions.

1. You are going to pay your share of the monthly rent.

2. Don't watch me poop.

There's no such things as ghosts, it's just peoples overactive imagination. Our brain is quite good at playing tricks on us, one example is sleep paralysis. For many years I had those kind of nightmares where I hallucinate and can't move my body. It's a very overwhelming and scary experience. No wonder people believe they have seen ghosts or been kidnapped by aliens. I experienced crazy stuff like that. Another kind of cool but creepy thing you can try yourself is talking with yourself while falling asleep, just keep repeating your name or something like than and then suddenly if you're lucky you get the word back at you like someone was calling out you're name. Very creepy haha :P happens sometimes to me. I cant remember the name of the effect though.

Also if you become a skeptic you don't have to ever be afraid of ghosts again ;) I can recommend this very funny and educational podcast on all things skeptic and science. They debunk quite a bit of silly myths and untruths in their shows :)

I don't really believe in ghosts, but it would be great to meet one if they did exist, because then I would know for sure that there's an afterlife.

Unless they were like the ghosts in those Witcher games I've seen. The tortured souls of brides who were violently killed just before their wedding, probably by another woman jealous of their getting married that kill anyone who doesn't get out of their way fast enough. Apparently they're all ghosts because they had died in a gruesome and/or unjust fashion and haunt the living because they have some kind of unfinished business to do, and "killing" them allows them to finally be at peace.

I read that the bodies of people who had committed suicide used to be buried at crossroads so their ghosts would get lost and not find their way back to the places where they died. I'm pretty sure being supernatural would just strengthen your sense of direction.

I examine on a case by case basis, different levels of ghosts, some are merely replaying as if caught on a tape that is constantly playing within the material of the environment and the observer is somehow permitted access and become initiated unto this cycle, or it's an intelligent haunting that is not encased but ''active'' and knowingly seeks escalating or occasional interaction and draws off the observer's energy to conduct mundane but alarming flurries kinda translates to childish tantrums, object manipulation, knocking, scratching on surfaces, audio phenomena/mimicking, varying levels of visual manifestation - rare but can occur even without occupants experiencing prior symptoms of a haunting for some reason which is quite odd. Or one can experience a visitation which is purely detached and is assumed to arrive from behind the true curtain of the beyond. Sometimes it's worse than a deceased human and you need serious help to get rid of it. Objects can have attachments and people can be pursued from place to place, ghosts aren't always simply haunting a site. I believe dreaming can be affected by a paranormal presence within a property too but that's a bit of a murky undertaking. I've experienced a few different types of ghosts and don't doubt I'll encounter more before I become one.

I know my cat has, on multiple occasions, stared at stuff in mid-air that I could not detect even in bright light. I am wondering what he sees that I don't? I have seen stuff [dark particular clouds floating near the ground] that I can't explain any other way, in direct relation to me using an electronic Ouija board, that made me take the batteries out and chuck that phuqing thing into a drawer post-haste.

There's a lot of interesting and unexplained phenomena that occurs. Some of which I have experienced. So I certainly like to entertain the idea.

I don't think much about ghosts, but ghosts think I'm pretty cool.

^^^
the whispering part is the sign. ghosts whisper when they aren't mind-to-minding people. it must be nice to be looked after by friendly ghosts. would you say they were relations or friendly people you knew who have since passed on?

^ I don't know.
Do ghosts have breath?
Because you know when someone whispers in your ear and you can feel the pressure on your eardrum?
It was like that.
Freaky.

^^^some ghosts can manifest ectoplasm and/or cause direct physical sensations in people. other ghosts can do a mind-to-mind thing that often can make your brain and body perceive otherworldly things. "the lord works in mysterious ways" [figure of speech] is apropos here.
