Hi recently my girlfriend has suggested I come to Vietnam with her (shes vietnamese) and I really wanna go, I have been saving money for the trip. However recently I have been watching some of my youtubers I have subscribed too and the VR they play looks amazing, however my gaming laptop is no where near powerful enough to run it. So I really want a gaming computer as well. I only have money for one though. So I wanted to ask what would you guys do?

I think you should go to Vietnam with your girlfriend; you know you should go with her.

Get both... If the girl is important to you and feel you may love her, then you should prioritize the trip and get the computer later. If not, then get the computer now.

go to vietnam... you've already set expectations, and it’s likely meaningful to her.

I'd go on the trip with her. I love being with my girlfriend & am very protective & would worry about her taking a big trip if I wasn't with her. Since your girlfriend is Vietnamese, she may have family & friends there that she would like to introduce you to & it'll be good for you to meet them if you want this to be a long term relationship.

Go with your GF, you can always get a new computer later on. The longer you wait, VR hardware will be cheaper and cheaper.

I wouldn’t get that excited about Vietnam, it’s not that great... But if I was you and as I said earlier, you need to evaluate if you really love her. If so that’s your answer. We can’t tell you what to do, it’s ultimately your decision and one I feel best made on how much value you put on the relationship.

Ho Chi Minh City isn’t all that nice.

But some parts of Hanoi, Hue, Halong Bay, and the northwest mountains around Sapa are nice.

Forgot, i saw on a food program that the Vietnamese food is supposed to be like Thai food so if that is your thing. Just skip the street vendors and eat at established restaurants and you'll be fine.

(I'd go there for the food, who gives a rats ass about a girl?)
